Vanilla apple pudding with raisins

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 liter of milk
  • Vanilla flavor
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 4 tbsp sweetener or vanilla sugar, can be varied according to taste
  • 1 handful of raisins
  • 2 apples
  • possibly cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Peel and slice the apples and fry until golden brown. Sweeten slightly. Just before the end of the frying time, add the raisins and, if you like, a pinch of cinnamon. Separate the egg. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Mix the cornstarch with a little milk. Bring the remaining milk to a boil in a saucepan with the sweetener or vanilla sugar. Stir in the mixed cornstarch until thickened, then stir in the egg yolks and remove the pudding from the heat. Add the fried apples and raisins and fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites. Can be eaten warm or chilled. I always devour the pudding before it has a chance to cool.
