Vanilla Cream Cake
The perfect vanilla cream cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Biscuit Dough

Tip for the sponge cake base
- If available, flat baking molds (16 and 20) to bake the bases individually because they are reassembled in color
Dough production
- You start by separating the eggs. Break the eggs separately from each other. Then start by whipping the egg white. Add a pinch of salt at the beginning and a little sugar at the end. Beat it up until it is frothy and firm. Continue with the egg yolk – let these pieces plum into the egg whites, approx. 50 grams of powdered sugar are now mixed with and with the egg whites to a creamy mixture.
- I stir and mix this in my food processor because it takes a long time for the dough to have the right consistency. Preheat the oven to 210 degrees O / U heat. Mix the flour with starch and baking powder, sift it over the egg mixture and then – SHORT – fold it in. Check that there are no nodules in the dough and then place it directly in the number of bowls according to the color you want.
- Now mix the dough with the color paste and fill it on a baking sheet lined with baking paper with rings or on corresponding shapes. Spread well and evenly with a spatula or angled palette. The baking time for the sponge cake is 8-10 minutes. Note !!! Always process the biscuit quickly, otherwise it will lose volume and not become loose and fluffy.
They make the cream during the baking time
- With the ingredients for the filling, start whipping the cream until it is nice and firm. Mix in the rest of the ingredients and chill. It is best to put it in the freezer for about 30 minutes so that it solidifies quickly. When the cream is completely cold, pour about 10 tablespoons of the cream into a piping bag. We’ll need this later for the decoration.
Prepare the baked bases
- In the meantime they have taken the different colored floors out of the oven and let them cool down. Now place them next to each other and cut out circles. The more circles you stand, the more colorful the cut will be. I prefer 3 different sizes per shelf.
Now is tinkering (the cake is being built)
- Now insert the cut-out circles into the selected outer circles and then insert the inner circles. In the end, each newly created floor should have three colors. Now layer the floors that are dabbed with plenty of cream filling on top of each other. Press lightly after each layer. The top layer is coated with plenty of cream and then the cake is covered with it. Chill the cake well and only then decorate
- As soon as the cake has been smoothly spread, use the piping bag to add dabs of cream all around. Now put the cake in the cold for about 2 hours – then it is perfectly chilled and can be decorated in the finish. I chose roses (made of silk) – baby wooden chains – pong pong`s (made of plush) – and some “tussi diamonds” (for the cake plate) – wooden letters for the name of the newborn baby
- This cake will be similar to a domino cake in the cut – and guarantees a surprise for those who will then be able to enjoy it. I wish you every success
