Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), scrape out the pulp
  • 500 ml milk, whole milk or UHT milk
  • 40 g cornstarch
  • 50 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Vanilla pudding with cream (without egg)

Combine the sugar and cornstarch and stir into a smooth mixture with a few tablespoons of the milk. Bring the milk to a boil. Add the scraped seeds from the vanilla pod. Slowly add the cornstarch and sugar mixture to the milk. Stir well and then add the whipped cream. Bring back to a boil, stirring continuously. Serve in glasses or bowls. To prevent a skin from forming, cover the pudding with cling film. Once cooled, garnish with a few strawberry pieces and a dollop of whipped cream.
