Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 liter of milk
  • 150 g sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla, ground
  • 150 g flour or 5 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Whisk together the eggs, sugar, vanilla powder, and flour (starch). Do not separate the egg yolks and egg whites. Bring the milk to a boil and stir in the egg mixture. Boil for a few minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and let cool.
