Ingredients
 

  • 1 Vanilla pod "Tahitensis" = Tahitian vanilla
  • 500 ml Milk or 250 ml milk and 250 ml cream
  • 3 Egg yolk size M
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 35 g Food starch

Instructions
 

  • Halve the vanilla pod lengthways, scrape out the pulp and pour into 350 ml milk, add the scraped out vanilla pod and bring to the boil.
  • Mix 150 ml milk, 3 egg yolks, 50 g sugar and 35 g cornstarch well with a whisk. Remove the pod from the milk and stir the starch mixture into the boiling milk, bring to the boil and continue to simmer for about 1-2 minutes while stirring.
  • Divide the pudding on 4 dessert bowls, let them cool and serve with fruits, red fruit jelly or chocolate sauce.
