Vanilla yogurt sauce

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ½ liter of milk
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 30 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 15 g cornstarch
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Natural yogurt to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 20 minutes

Whisk some milk with the cornstarch and egg yolk. Bring the remaining milk to a boil with the vanilla sugar, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Turn off the stove and stir the cornstarch into the hot milk. Continue cooking for another half minute. Allow the custard to cool. Whisk the cooled custard thoroughly and stir in the yogurt to taste.
