Spread the love

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 5 eggs
  • ½ bag(s) of sugar (lemon sugar)
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • Chocolate (chocolate drops)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Basic dough

Quickly mix the ingredients one after the other with a hand mixer until you have a batter. Place paper baking cups on the baking tray and add 1 thick teaspoon to each one. Place 3-4 chocolate chips on the batter (they will bake into the batter). Bake on the middle rack of the oven at approx. 175°C to 200°C for 15-30 minutes. You can also pour the batter into a well-greased bowl or loaf pan that has been dusted with breadcrumbs. Variations: Add the following to the batter: 1 cup of egg liqueur; or 100g ground almonds or hazelnuts; or 100g chocolate sprinkles; or 3 tbsp Nutella; or 3 small diced Cox’s Orange apples; or 1 tsp. Place cherries into the paper baking cups, or mix 250g of cream cheese with 100g of sugar, the juice of ½ lemon, and 1 packet of vanilla pudding powder. Spoon 1 level teaspoon of the base mixture into the cup, then top with 1 level teaspoon of quark. Tip: All ingredients must be at room temperature!
