Vegan apple muffins

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g wheat flour
  • 250 ml water
  • 150 g sugar
  • 100 g margarine
  • 2 large apples
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Makes 12 muffins.

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper baking cups. Combine the flour with sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon. Add the water, margarine, and vinegar and mix into a smooth batter. Wash, peel, core, and finely grate the apples, and mix into the batter. Divide the batter among the cups and bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack for about 20 minutes. Then let cool.
