Vegan apple pie with applesauce

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 125 g sugar
  • 125 g margarine
  • 160 g applesauce
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • ½ sachet of baking powder
  • 1 shot of mineral water
  • 3 apples
  • e.g. cinnamon
  • e.g. powdered sugar

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

very tasty and quick to make

Mix flour, sugar, margarine, vanilla sugar, baking powder, applesauce, and water into a smooth batter. Pour this batter into a greased or parchment-lined cake pan. I always use the pan for making a pie crust. Chill the batter. Peel the apples and slice them. Arrange the apple slices on the cake. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 180°C for about 20-30 minutes. Once the cake comes out of the oven, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
