Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 carnations
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 1 tsp anise
  • 5 cardamom pods
  • 4 tbsp tea (black tea)
  • 1.2 liters of water
  • 2 tsp ginger, chopped
  • 300 ml milk (rice milk)
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Crush the cloves, cinnamon, anise, and cardamom in a mortar and pestle, then briefly roast them in a pan without oil until a pleasant spice aroma is released. Then add the water and chopped ginger and bring to a boil. Once the water boils, pour the black tea into a tea bag, add it, and let it steep for at least 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags. Add the sugar and rice milk, stir well, and bring to a boil again. Strain the finished tea through a sieve.
