Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g buckwheat flour
  • 500 ml water
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 1 handful of hazelnuts
  • 1 handful of sesame seeds
  • 1 handful of sunflower seeds
  • 1 pinch(s) of caraway seeds, if you like
  • 1 pinch(s) of turmeric

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes

Depending on the manufacturer, you may need to “start” the dry yeast with a little warm water and sugar or agave syrup. Mix the flour and other ingredients with the yeast to form a dough. Place the mixture in a warm place, e.g., in an oven preheated to 30 degrees Celsius, for about 30 minutes. Pour the dough into a baking pan and bake at 190 degrees Celsius for 70 minutes. Tip: Turmeric gives it a slightly odd color, but it tastes good. Without the caraway and turmeric, the bread is also suitable for sweet spreads.
