Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g wholemeal spelt flour
  • 300 g water
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 10 g yeast
  • 15 g salt
  • 2 tsp Kala Namak
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

Knead all ingredients in a food processor, then cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour. The dough should be neither too sticky nor too tough; add a little more flour or water if needed. Knead again and form a ball. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, place in a cold oven, and bake at 220°C (fan oven) on the middle rack for about 50-60 minutes. Let the bread cool completely. It tastes great with pizza sauce for dipping.
