Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
with smoked tofu and seaweed
Briefly swell the dried seaweed with a little water, then add it to a bowl with the remaining ingredients and puree with a hand blender. The paste doesn’t need to be too fine; I personally like to add a bit of seaweed or smoked tofu every now and then. This spread is simply delicious and tastes similar to smoked fish. Vegetarians and vegans who used to like fish will love it! Tips: The paste tastes best with fresh tofu (e.g., from an Asian store), as it becomes particularly creamy. It’s also delicious with fresh seaweed (unfortunately not always available)! Add a little water if the consistency is too firm.
