Vegan tomato, basil and garlic spread

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g vegetable margarine
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 handful of basil leaves, fresh
  • ½ tsp sea salt, fine

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Warm the margarine in a large enough bowl until it’s slightly runny or nice and soft. Peel the garlic cloves and press them into the bowl. Wash, dry, and finely chop or slice the basil leaves. Add them to the bowl. Add the salt and tomato paste and mix everything with a fork or whisk until well blended. Let it sit in the refrigerator for a few hours. If you don’t have time, you can of course enjoy the spread/dip immediately.
