Vegetable and Leberkäse pan

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g Leberkäse
  • 1 tbsp gyro seasoning or pizza seasoning/grill seasoning
  • oil
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 1 onion(s)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the Leberkäse into strips. Mix with seasoning (use less barbecue seasoning if you don’t like it too spicy) and oil, and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. In the meantime, trim, wash, and slice the bell peppers. Peel and dice the onion. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the Leberkäse for about 2 minutes. Add the onion and bell pepper, sauté everything, and season with salt and pepper. Serve with potatoes, mashed potatoes, pasta or rice, and tzatziki.
