  • 1,5 kg Vegetable cucumbers
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 tbsp Yellow mustard seeds
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 Dried chilli pepper
  • 10 Black peppercorns
  • 10 Allspice grains
  • 3 Cloves
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 1 tbsp Chopped ginger
  • 3 tbsp Chopped dill
  • 150 ml White wine vinegar
  • 150 ml Water
  1. Peel the cucumbers, cut in half lengthways, core and cut into bite-sized pieces. Peel and roughly chop the onion. Bring the water to the boil in a suitable saucepan, add all the spices (except for the fresh dill).
