Violet-Thyme Syrup
The perfect violet-thyme syrup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 handful Violet flowers
- 1 handful Fresh thyme
- 1 liter Water
- 1 kg Sugar
- Dissolve the sugar in the water and then add the violet blossoms and thyme. Let it steep overnight and filter off the next day (preferably a coffee filter). Put in a bowl and boil in a water bath for 30 minutes. Excellent for refining desserts.
