Violet-Thyme Syrup

The perfect violet-thyme syrup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 handful Violet flowers
  • 1 handful Fresh thyme
  • 1 liter Water
  • 1 kg Sugar
  1. Dissolve the sugar in the water and then add the violet blossoms and thyme. Let it steep overnight and filter off the next day (preferably a coffee filter). Put in a bowl and boil in a water bath for 30 minutes. Excellent for refining desserts.
