Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 chicken, turkey or pork schnitzels (120 g each)
- 1 onion(s)
- 2 bell peppers, red and yellow, alternatively 2 handfuls of bell pepper strips (frozen)
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- 3 tbsp sauce (Texas salsa)
- some broth
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Season and fry the schnitzel. Meanwhile, dice the onion, bell pepper, tomatoes, and garlic (leave the frozen bell pepper strips whole). Remove the schnitzel. Sauté the onion, bell pepper, tomatoes, and garlic. Then add the broth (depending on how much liquid you want) and bring to a boil. Then stir in about 3-6 tablespoons of Texas salsa sauce (depending on how spicy you like it), add the schnitzel back in, and let it simmer briefly. We serve it with either pasta, rice, or simply baguette.
