Cardiologist and candidate of medical sciences Anna Korenevych claims that regular consumption of bakery products is associated with the development of atherosclerosis, vascular problems, and other ailments.

“Eating bread is just your habit, not a vital necessity or a need of the body. Therefore, you can freely refuse this product,” the cardiologist noted, specifying that it is primarily about bread made from high-grade flour.

The doctor advised, if you need the product, to switch to bread made from high-fiber flour. “It is optimal to make bread yourself, adding bran and fiber, and eat only such bread,” the cardiologist emphasized.

According to the doctor, systematic abuse of the wrong foods can worsen the course of cardiovascular diseases. She also emphasized that dietary changes should be agreed upon with a doctor if a person has been diagnosed with cardiovascular disease.
