White cabbage salad with walnuts

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 200 g white cabbage
  • 2 carrots
  • 200 ml cream
  • 5 tbsp wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp, heaped sugar
  • 50 g walnuts
  • 30 mint leaves or more, depending on taste
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel and clean the two carrots and grate them into a medium-sized bowl. Finely chop the cabbage and finely chop the strips. Press a garlic clove and finely dice the onion. Place everything in a bowl, add the wine vinegar and sugar, and mix. Chop the walnuts (they don’t need to be too fine), chop the mint leaves, and add both to the mixture. Add the cream, mix everything thoroughly, and season to taste.
