White chocolate mousse

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g white chocolate
  • 250 ml cream
  • 2 cl orange liqueur if desired
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Total time approx. 8 hours 25 minutes

optionally with or without alcohol

Break the white chocolate into small pieces. Melt it with the cream (and orange liqueur, if desired) over low heat in a water bath. Be careful not to let the cream boil! Pour this mixture into a mixing bowl, cover with cling film, and refrigerate, preferably overnight. Just before serving, beat well with a hand mixer and serve dusted with cocoa powder.
