Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 2 eggs
- 6 tbsp milk
- 125 g butter, melted
- 125 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- some vanilla flavor
- ½ pack of baking powder
- some salt
- 250 g flour
- Paper cups
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
makes 12 pieces.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Beat the eggs until frothy, then mix with the sugar, vanilla sugar, butter, vanilla essence, and milk. In another bowl, combine the flour with the baking powder and salt and slowly stir into the wet ingredients. Pour the batter generously into a muffin tin lined with paper baking cups (12 or 24) and bake for 15-20 minutes. Test with a skewer if the muffins are done. Don’t be fooled by the light color; they will stay very pale, almost white. The muffins have a delicious vanilla flavor and can be glazed as desired.
