Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 3 bananas, ripe, approx. 140 g/piece, peeled
- 50 g butter
- 60 g peanut oil
- 2 eggs size M
- 250 g wholemeal spelt flour
- 50 g protein powder, vanilla
- 50 g almonds, chopped
- 50 g cane sugar
- 1 packet of Bourbon vanilla sugar
- ½ tsp, leveled salt
- 1 packet of baking powder
- some milk
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Banana bread for athletes with wholemeal spelt flour and extra protein
Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Mash the bananas into a puree, mix with the butter, peanut oil, and eggs. Add the dry ingredients and beat everything with a hand mixer. While mixing, add a little milk until the batter reaches a creamy consistency. Pour the batter into a loaf pan greased with peanut oil. Bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 45-50 minutes.
