Wholemeal spelt rolls

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 750 g spelt flour (wholemeal)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 40 g yeast
  • 1 tsp bread spice mix
  • 500 ml water, lukewarm

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes

Place the flour in a bowl and mix with the spices. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water and add it. Knead everything for about 5 minutes until a smooth dough forms. Form the dough into a ball, cover, and let it rise at room temperature for about 1 hour. Then knead again and shape into about 25 rolls. Place the rolls on a greased baking sheet and bake at 220°C for about 30-35 minutes.
