Wild berry lime with cassis

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 lemon(s), juice
  • 500 g berries (wild berry mix), frozen
  • 250 g sugar
  • 300 ml vodka
  • 100 ml blackcurrant

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the wild berry mixture with lemon juice and sugar. Let stand for about 5 hours until thawed. Strain the thawed berries through a fine sieve, reserving the pulp. Stir the pulp vigorously with the vodka and blackcurrant liqueur until well blended. Then, using a funnel, pour the lime juice into a boiled bottle (approx. 750 ml capacity) and store in the refrigerator. The lime juice tastes fantastic infused with sparkling wine and will keep for about 10 weeks.
