Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 large pineapple, ripe, fragrant
  • e.g. cream (spray cream)
  • Cinnamon
  • Sugar
  • chocolate sprinkles

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

with a Christmas touch

Quarter the pineapple lengthwise to create 4 equal pieces. Remove the middle core from each quarter. Cut a slit on the left and right sides of the pineapple, removing the skin from each quarter and exposing the flesh. Now slice these quarters lying on the skin, alternating between pushing each slice to the left and right. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Drizzle whipped cream into the openings of the pineapple boat. Finally, sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles, if desired. My little fruit-haters love it. Tip: Also delicious with almonds or brittle.
