Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 bottle of dry white wine
  • 1 bunch woodruff
  • 1 bottle of sparkling wine
  • 1 lemon(s), untreated, peeled rind
  • e.g. sugar or honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Remove a few woodruff leaves and set them aside. Add the remaining woodruff to the white wine and crush them. Let it steep for an hour. Then remove the woodruff. Sweeten the wine with sugar or honey to taste and pour it into a punch bowl. Add the peeled lemon zest and top with sparkling wine. Serve garnished with the reserved fresh woodruff leaves.
