Ingredients
 

For the steaks

  • 5 Pc. Soy big steaks
  • 0,5 Cup Soy sauce
  • 0,5 Cup Sugar
  • 0,5 Cup Water
  • 0,5 Cup Rice vinegar
  • 0,25 Cup Sesame oil
  • 0,25 Cup Sake
  • 1 Can Tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp Chopped garlic
  • 1 tbsp Sesame
  • 1 tsp Black pepper

Bbq sauce

  • 1 Pc. Red Onion
  • 3 Pc. Garlic cloves
  • 0,33 liter Cola
  • 500 g Tomato ketchup
  • Liquid smoke
  • 1 shot Whiskey
  • 500 ml Beer
  • 1 Pc. Dried chilli
  • Mustard
  • Paprika powder
  • Agave syrup
  • Olive oil
  • Vinegar
  • Salt and pepper

Savoy cabbage chips

  • Savoy cabbage
  • Olive oil

Cole slaw

  • 0,5 Pc. Fresh white cabbage
  • 0,5 Pc. Fresh red cabbage
  • 4 Pc. Carrots
  • 1 Cup Olive oil
  • 0,5 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Mustard
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Cook soy steaks in hot, salted water for 10 minutes until tender. Drain and squeeze out the steaks. Mix the ingredients together in a bowl and then marinate the big steaks for at least 24 hours.

  • Dice the onions and sauté in olive oil. Squeeze the garlic. Cut up a chilli and add it. Caramelize with the agave syrup and deglaze with a large sip of whiskey. Add a lot of paprika powder until a dark brown base is formed.
  • Add ketchup, 200 ml beer and add a little whiskey to taste. Mix with a good dash of liquid smoke and 100 ml of cola. Fold in a spoonful of mustard, let the sauce thicken and season with vinegar, salt and pepper.
  • Fry the steaks until crispy and deglaze with beer, whiskey, cola and about 1/3 of the BBQ sauce and stir until a caramel-like glaze is formed.
  • Toast the rolls and brush with majo. Build a burger with lettuce and vegetables, cover with the steaks and pour the BBQ sauce over it.

Savoy cabbage chips

  • Tear pearling into individual leaves and remove the thick "skeleton". Mix the olive oil and spices in a bowl and shake the savoy cabbage leaves until the savoy cabbage is evenly covered. Bake crispy in the oven at approx. 100 degrees with patience.

Cole slaw

  • Grate white cabbage, red cabbage and carrots in strips. Mix olive oil, apple cider vinegar and mustard and season with salt and pepper. Mix everything together and let it steep for at least 1 hour.
