Yellow Pea Stew

The perfect yellow pea stew recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Dried yellow peas
  • 4 Discs Smoked ham
  • 1 Carrot
  • 0,5 Pc. Leek
  • 1 Potato
  • 5 Discs Smoked bacon
  • Salt pepper
  • 1 pinch Garlic spice
  • Parsely
  1. Peel the potato and cut into bite-sized pieces, cut the carrot, leek and ham into small pieces or rings and cook with the peas, salt, pepper and garlic for about 1 hour.
  2. Dice the bacon and leave it in the pan and add at the end of the pea soup. Sprinkle with finely chopped parsley. Season to taste and then serve.
