Ingredients for 3 servings:
- ½ banana(s), alternatively apricots or pineapple
- 1 piece(s) turmeric (root), approx. 2 cm long, alternatively ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 mango(s)
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ginger
- 300 ml almond milk (almond drink) or cashew milk, alternatively low-fat milk or mineral water
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract, alternatively 1 tsp vanilla sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Cut the banana half into pieces. Peel the turmeric root and then grate it finely. Caution: The turmeric root stains heavily, so you may want to wear household gloves when doing this. Peel the mango and roughly chop the flesh. Now add the following ingredients to the blender: 1 teaspoon coconut oil, ½ teaspoon cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon ginger, the mango flesh, the sliced banana, almond milk, and vanilla extract or sugar. Blend everything briefly. Then open the blender, add the turmeric, and run the blender twice more for about 20 seconds. If your blender has a special smoothie function, use it. Now it’s time to serve and enjoy.
