Yogurt-mint sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g natural yogurt (1.5% fat)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 15 leaves mint, fresh
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Crush the garlic, chop the mint leaves as finely as possible, and add them to the yogurt with the lemon juice. Mix everything together. Season carefully with salt and pepper and refrigerate. Of course, you can enjoy the sauce immediately, but it tastes better if you let it sit for a while. It goes well with grilled or pan-fried dishes. It also goes well with pancakes, such as zucchini pancakes (see photo). A delicious alternative to tzatziki.
