Yum-Yum Salad

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 large Chinese cabbage
  • 2 packs of instant noodles (Yum Yum) with chicken flavor
  • 6 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 100 g almond sticks
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 4 tbsp vinegar (7-herb vinegar)
  • 80 ml oil, e.g. walnut oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Mix together the oil, sugar, vinegar, pepper, salt, and herbs from the noodle packet (the sachet with the spices on it) until the sugar has dissolved. Finely chop the Chinese cabbage. Crumble the noodles finely and add to the salad. Lightly toast the almonds and sunflower seeds in a pan without fat and add to the salad. Pour the dressing over the salad 15 minutes before serving. Stir well, and your yum-yum salad is ready!
