Zucchetti – Pizza
The perfect zucchetti – pizza recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 gr Pizza dough
- 6 piece Garlic
- 4 piece Fresh onion
- 4 tbsp Thyme hooked fresh
- 100 g Grated Emmental
- 400 gr Zucchini
- 10 tbsp Butter
- 10 piece Cherry date tomatoes
- Black olives
- Salt, gourmet pepper from my KB
- Finely chop the garlic – cut the onions into rings
- Melt 4 tablespoons butter in a frying pan and sauté the onions and garlic for 2 minutes, add the remaining butter – let it melt and add the thyme. Season with salt and pepper.
- Clean the zucchini and cut into 4mm rings and mix with the seasoned butter with onion and garlic
- Roll out the pizza dough and prick the base lightly
- Spread the cheese on top and put the prepared zucchini-onion-garlic-seasoned butter mixture on top of the cheese, spread the cherry tomatoes and olives over the top
- Preheat the oven to 220 degrees
- Depending on the oven, the baking time is 15-20 minutes
- plus a salad and a cold beer 😉 or a glass of wine
