Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 eggs
  • 150 g powdered sugar
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 pack of pudding powder, vanilla
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp jelly (currant jelly)
  • 4 bananas
  • ½ pack of cake glaze, clear
  • 375 ml orange juice
  • 3 cups of cream
  • 3 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 3 packs of cream stiffener
  • Chocolate shavings, sugar sprinkles, Smarties, sugar figures, candles,…….

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

ideal for children’s birthdays

Preheat oven to 180°C (top and bottom heat). Beat eggs and powdered sugar with a hand mixer on high for 6 minutes. Mix flour, vanilla pudding powder and baking powder and stir briefly. Pour into a prepared springform pan and bake in the oven for approx. 15-20 minutes. Remove from the pan and let cool. Fold the springform pan sides back up. Spread the jelly on the cake, halve the bananas lengthwise and place on the cake. Prepare the cake glaze according to the package instructions (without sugar) with the orange juice and pour over the bananas. Let cool, then remove the springform pan sides. Whip the cream until stiff and spread evenly around and on the cake. Decorate as desired. Tip: If the cake is for adults, pour advocaat on the cream decoration.
