Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1,000 g flour
  • 3 packs of yeast
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp, leveled salt
  • 500 g water, lukewarm
  • 150 g Parma ham or Black Forest ham
  • 150g mozzarella
  • 1 tsp basil, dried
  • 50 g Parmesan, grated
  • 6 eggs, hard-boiled
  • 100g salami
  • 50 g ham, cooked
  • 100 g cheese (Emmental or pizza cheese), grated
  • 30 g pepper(s), cut into strips
  • 20 g onion(s), in rings
  • olive oil
  • possibly tomato sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Combine flour, yeast, salt, sugar, and water with a dough hook. Knead the dough by hand. Roll out each loaf into two flatbreads, approximately 0.5 cm thick. Fill one half with eggs, Parma ham, mozzarella, Parmesan, and basil. Fill the other half with salami, ham, peppers, onions, and grated cheese. Add a little tomato sauce, if desired. Fold both loaves in half and shape into a roll, sealing the ends. Rub with olive oil, place on baking paper, and bake at 200°C fan-assisted oven for 30 minutes. The bread will rise in the oven.
