Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 40 g lemon balm, or more
- 2 dashes lemon juice
- 450 ml apple juice, not from concentrate
- 500 g gelling sugar (2:1)
- 300 ml water
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Total time approx. 8 hours 20 minutes
Finely chop the lemon balm, pour boiling water over it, and let it steep for a few hours. Drain the liquid and top up to 300 ml with water if necessary. Mix with the apple juice, lemon juice, and sugar and bring to a boil. Boil gently for 1 minute, test for set, and pour into jars.
