Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g quark
  • 150 g mayonnaise (preferably Miracle Whip Balance)
  • 1 can tuna in its own juice, drained
  • 1 piece(s) cucumber(s), about thumb thick
  • some salt and pepper
  • 1 shot of olive oil, good
  • some sugar
  • 125 g herb cream cheese
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • possibly onion(s)
  • possibly peas

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

as a side dish or for pasta salad

Combine the quark, cream cheese, mayonnaise, and tuna in a large bowl and mix thoroughly with a hand mixer until creamy. Then add the olive oil and the very finely chopped cucumber slice. Stir gently with a wooden spoon. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and sugar. We always add plenty of pepper, but that’s a matter of taste. Add the crushed garlic at the very end for the perfect kick. Then let it sit for a while. We like to eat it with rigatoni. Simply mix it like pasta salad. If serving as a dip or cream, you can also add some onions and/or peas.
