Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 800 ml juice, elderberry juice and plum juice, half and half
  • 1 kg gelling sugar 1:1

I steam-juiced elderberries and plums and let the juice cool, but you can also buy ready-made juice. Combine both juices with the gelling sugar in a large pot and bring to a boil. Boil gently for 4 minutes, then test for settling. When the jelly has the desired consistency, pour it into hot, rinsed jars, seal with twist-off lids, and let it stand upside down for 5 minutes.
