  • 1 bottle of dry white wine
  • 75 ml syrup (elderflower syrup)
  • 2 slices of lemon
  • 1 sprig(s) peppermint, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Mulled wine version of the popular summer drink

Heat the white wine in a saucepan and add the elderflower syrup and a slice of lemon. Do not boil. Pour the hot Hugo into mulled wine mugs and add a slice of lemon and a few fresh peppermint leaves to each. Note: The hot Hugo brings the popular summer drink “Hugo” into winter. A dry white wine, such as Riesling Chardonnay from Rheinhessen, is a good base.
