Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 900 g fresh sausages, pierced several times with a toothpick
- 2 tbsp oil, neutral
- 2 onions, chopped
- 400 ml malt beer or a Belgian abbey beer
- 2 tbsp coarse-grained mustard
- 3 bay leaves
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 day 25 minutes
Heat the oil and fry the chopped onion. Simmer with the beer, mustard, and bay leaves for 5 minutes. Once cooled, pour over the sausages and marinate overnight. Grill over medium heat for 8-10 minutes, turning once.
