Leek with Ham and Cheese

The perfect leek with ham and cheese recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 pole Leek
  • Salt
  • 2 Discs Cooked ham
  • 50 g Whipped cream
  • 2 tablespoon Grated cheese
  • Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Grated cheese
  1. Cut the green and the root from the leek. Cut the leek into 4 – 5 pieces. Blanch in boiling salted water for 5 minutes. Take out with a slotted spoon and drain.
  2. Wrap the leek in ham and place in a greased baking dish.
  3. Mix the cream with the cheese, season with pepper. Pour over the leek pieces wrapped in ham. Sprinkle with the grated cheese.
  4. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 10 minutes until the cheese has melted.
