Leek with Ham and Cheese
The perfect leek with ham and cheese recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 pole Leek
- Salt
- 2 Discs Cooked ham
- 50 g Whipped cream
- 2 tablespoon Grated cheese
- Pepper
- 1 tablespoon Grated cheese
- Cut the green and the root from the leek. Cut the leek into 4 – 5 pieces. Blanch in boiling salted water for 5 minutes. Take out with a slotted spoon and drain.
- Wrap the leek in ham and place in a greased baking dish.
- Mix the cream with the cheese, season with pepper. Pour over the leek pieces wrapped in ham. Sprinkle with the grated cheese.
- Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 10 minutes until the cheese has melted.
