Turkey Schnitzel for two
The perfect turkey schnitzel for two recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Turkey schnitzel
- 2 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- 2 half slices Black Forest ham
- 2 Discs Pineapple
- 2 Discs Gouda cheese
- 2 Discs Herbal seasoning salt
- First of all: there was a leftover turkey schnitzel (there are only two of us) – and I had to think of something for that.
- At work: I preheated the oven to 160 degrees; the schnitzel was rinsed with cold water, patted dry again and cut into small “schnitzel”, then briefly fried in heated olive oil and lightly seasoned with salt and pepper, placed on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Then I topped the pieces with half a slice of ham, pineapple and young Gouda cheese to top it off, and sprinkled everything over with a little herb and seasoning salt.
- I baked my dish in the preheated stove for about 20 minutes, until the cheese began to melt appetizingly.
- I garnished my “turkey schnitzel for two” with a cherry each and served it with a vegetable basmati rice.
