Cake with Straciatella Cream Low Carb

The perfect cake with straciatella cream low carb recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 piece Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 70 g Xucker
  • 80 g Soy flour
  • 5 g Baking soda
  • 500 g Quark 40% fat
  • 15 g Dark chocolate 81%
  • 10 g Desiccated coconut
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • Fat for baking pan 24cm round
  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees.
  2. Separate eggs.
  3. Beat the egg whites with water and xucker until stiff.
  4. Fold in the yolks
  5. Mix the soy flour with baking soda and fold in as well.
  6. Grease the shape (24cm).
  7. Pour the mixture into the mold and bake for 20 minutes.
  8. Let cool down well.
  9. Halve the cake base horizontally so that you have 2 round plates.
  10. Chop the chocolate into small pieces.
  11. Mix with quark and vanilla extract.
  12. Spread the cream (except for 3 heaping tablespoons) on the bottom cake base and then put the lid on it.
  13. Spread the rest of the cream on top and spread the desiccated coconut on top.
  14. Cut into 8 equal pieces.
