Vanilla Cake Low Carb

The perfect vanilla cake low carb recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Baking pan 26cm
  • 3 piece Eggs
  • 20 g Baking cocoa
  • 5 g Baking powder
  • 130 g Xucker
  • 5 g Finesse natural bourbon vanilla aroma liquid
  • 100 g Ground hazelnuts
  • 400 g Sour cream
  • 175 g Lowfat quark
  • 150 g Cream
  • Fat for baking pan
  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees.
  2. Mix the hazelnuts, baking powder and cocoa together.
  3. Add eggs and 100g Xucker and mix with a hand mixer.
  4. Put the mixture in a greased baking pan (24cm) and put it in the oven for 20 minutes.
  5. Let cool down well.
  6. Mix the sour cream with vanilla flavor, low-fat quark and remaining xucker. (I added food coloring but doesn’t have to be).
  7. Whip the cream until stiff
  8. Put both in a cool place.
  9. Cut the very well cooled cake base in half lengthways so that 2 plates are created.
  10. Smear half of the sour cream on the lower plate and put on the other plate.
  11. Now cover the cake with the rest of the cream.
  12. Cut into 8 equal pieces and decorate evenly with cream.
