Chicken, Leek and Apple Casserole

The perfect chicken, leek and apple casserole recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 g Potatoes
  • 2 size Chicken fillets
  • 2 size Leek
  • 2 Apples
  • 2 Milk
  • 2 Butter
  • Freshly grated nutmeg
  • 100 g Grated cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  1. Peel the potatoes and cook them in salted water.
  2. Wash the meat, pat dry, cut into large cubes, season with salt and pepper and fry on all sides in a pan with hot oil
  3. Wash the leek thoroughly, cut into rings, wash the apples, remove the core and cut into wedges.
  4. Now drain the potatoes, let them evaporate a little, mash into a puree with the warmed milk and butter, season with salt and nutmeg.
  5. Put in a baking dish the greasy mashed potatoes, leek meat and the apples and finally sprinkle the cheese on top
  6. Put the casserole in the 200c. Put in the preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes.
