Ginger Orange Liqueur

The perfect ginger orange liqueur recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Ginger
  • 3 piece Orange untreated
  • 1 Vanilla pod scraped out without pulp
  • 500 ml Water
  • 300 g Sugar
  • 750 ml Schnapps of course
  1. Ginger – Orange Liqueur Peel and roughly grate the ginger. Wash the oranges with hot water and cut them into small cubes. Boil the ginger, oranges and the scraped-out vanilla pod in the water for 10 minutes. Then add sugar and continue cooking until the sugar is dissolved. Let the brew cool down, mix it with the schnapps and put it in the corner for at least 6-8 weeks and forget it. Then filter the finished liqueur and fill it into bottles.
