Ingredients

  • 1000 g Oranges, fillets
  • 300 ml Blood orange juice
  • 3 Allspice grains, ground
  • 2 pinch Ground cinnamon
  • 0,5 Baking flavor vanilla tubes
  • 1 Baking flavor orange tubes
  • 1 tsp Ginger powder
  • 1 Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 Bio lemon zest
  • 350 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Gelfix Super 3: 1, gelling powder
  • 75 ml Orange liqueur

Instructions

  • Wash oranges, peel them, completely remove the white skin, cut into fillets and cut into small pieces. Catch juice and use with it. Squeeze 3-4 blood oranges (300 ml) and add to the orange fillets. Put both in a tall saucepan and mix with the spices, lemon juice and zest. Only puree the mixture a little, otherwise it will become too runny.
  • Mix the sugar and jelly powder, add to the orange mass and stir well. Let stand for a while so that the spices can permeate.
  • Heat the saucepan on the highest level and let it simmer for at least 5 minutes while stirring constantly. Take the saucepan off the heat, add the orange liqueur and stir well.
  • Pour jam into clean twist-off jars that have been rinsed with boiling hot water, close the lid tightly and turn it upside down for 10 minutes, then turn it over. Delicious for breakfast, for dessert, over ice cream or as a filling. Enjoy your meal!
