Guglhupf A’la Leftovers
The perfect guglhupf a’la leftovers recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 gr Wheat flour
- 3 Eggs
- 150 gr Butter or margarine
- 100 ml Milk
- 1 pck Vanilla sugar
- 1 pck Baking powder
- 50 ml Take rum or more then less milk
- 200 gr Chocolate sprinkles
- 100 gr Raisins, almonds or other types of nuts
- What you have in stock right now.
- First stir the eggs until foamy. Add the butter and sugar. Make a batter from the remaining ingredients. Finally, stir in the almonds, chocolate sprinkles and raisins.
- Put the dough in a greased gugelhupf pan and bake at 200 degrees for about 60 minutes.
- if you like, you can top the cake with a chocolate icing, but it tastes like that too.
