Guglhupf A’la Leftovers

The perfect guglhupf a’la leftovers recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 gr Wheat flour
  • 3 Eggs
  • 150 gr Butter or margarine
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 1 pck Vanilla sugar
  • 1 pck Baking powder
  • 50 ml Take rum or more then less milk
  • 200 gr Chocolate sprinkles
  • 100 gr Raisins, almonds or other types of nuts
  • What you have in stock right now.
  1. First stir the eggs until foamy. Add the butter and sugar. Make a batter from the remaining ingredients. Finally, stir in the almonds, chocolate sprinkles and raisins.
  2. Put the dough in a greased gugelhupf pan and bake at 200 degrees for about 60 minutes.
  3. if you like, you can top the cake with a chocolate icing, but it tastes like that too.
